My name is Rebecca Marie Garcia, and I am a student at Florida International University, pursuing a degree in Music Education. While the flute is my primary instrument, I am also proficient in piccolo, alto saxophone, and trumpet, and I am currently expanding my skills by learning piano. As a lifelong musician, I am deeply committed to using the power of music to inspire and enrich the lives of others. Throughout my musical journey, I have had the privilege of participating in a variety of enriching experiences, including six years in marching band, where I served as drum major, as well as conducting my high school concert band. I have also performed in several collegiate honor bands and gained valuable teaching experience across multiple grade levels. Most recently I was the Drum Major for the Florida International University’s Marching Band and Court side Players. With a passion for both music and education, I am excited to continue fostering a love for music in the next generation. As a proud alumna of Coral Cove, I carry the spirit of my school with me: Once a Pelican, always a Pelican!

My name is Anabella Lonardo. I began dancing at just three years old and have spent years developing my skills in ballet, jazz, musical theatre, tap, hip-hop, pointe, flamenco, and contemporary dance. I trained extensively through my high school's Dance program and also gained experience in the Theatre program, allowing me to combine my passions for dance, acting, and musical theatre. As a student choreographer, I created a piece that earned District Critics' Choice and District 13 Representative honors, as well as a Superior rating at the state level. I have choreographed numerous productions for my high school, including The Secret Garden and Evita, and have also assisted with choreographing elementary productions of Seussical Jr. and Annie Jr. I have worked extensively with young dancers through Pelican Cove Theater Productions' summer programs, choreographing The Lion King and Madagascar the Musical, as well as serving as a dance teacher and counselor at Epic Youth Sports Summer Camp. Having also been a member of my own middle school dance team, I understand the teamwork, discipline, and confidence that come with being part of a dance team. I am passionate about the performing arts and love sharing that passion with young students while helping them build their skills, confidence, creativity, and love for dance!
Through the arts, children benefit tremendously. They improve their communication skills, build confidence, develop creativity, and learn to work as a team while learning from and lifting each other. The friendships and memories built on and off the stage for a performance are endless.
